2024 Virtual Assistant Rebrand & Level Up

Virtual Assistant Services

The Brief

Carol Jamieson is a virtual assistant who helps small business owners stay consistent on social media through content planning, scheduling and Canva design. She came to me with no visual identity at all, just a clear sense of who she wanted to serve and a strong instinct that the brand should feel personal, because clients would always be working with her directly.

The challenge was positioning her warmly and professionally in a market full of generic VA branding, while making sure the identity could carry across two distinct offers: done-for-you services for established business owners and Canva courses and templates for those earlier in their journey.

What the studio did

Carol wanted something that felt elevated without losing its warmth, so I built the identity around a deep forest green and soft pink palette with a pale blush as a base tone. The primary wordmark uses a high-contrast serif with decorative letterform variation, giving it the character she was drawn to without relying on script. I paired it with a circular monogram mark built from overlapping initials, which works cleanly at small sizes across social profiles and documents.

I extended the system across business cards, invoice templates, Instagram post templates, a website mock-up and a full social media grid, giving Carol a cohesive presence that reads as professional and personal in equal measure.
